Main Function

1. Provision of efficient management and advisory role on project management to Local Authorities by emphasizing on strategy of a systematic coordination & monitoring of development projects;
2. Planning and Examining the Annual Development Budget;
3. Review proposals on development projects submitted by Local Authorities for federal and state funding;
4. Coordinate and monitor the physical and financial progress of state and federal development projects approved;
5. Coordinate the appointment of consultants for approved development projects;
6. Administer the disbursement of capital grants for implemented projects;
7. Coordinating and monitoring the eradication of urban poverty program.
