aspiration and great determination to transform Sibu Rural
District Council from it’s present status into a Municipality
by the year 2010.
The
logo of Sibu Rural District Council is from the three basic

This signifies the support that the council is receiving from
government grants, rate assessments and licence fees. Green
demonstrates the Council’s urgency in beautifying and preserving
the environment.

centre reflects the various functions undertaken by the Council.
